BioLite’s vision is to provide 20 million people access to clean energy and to avoid 3 million tons of CO2 by 2025. BioLite creates affordable, durable products that harness surrounding energy for off-grid households to cook, charge, and light daily life. BioLite acquired MPOWERD, a Builders Fund I solar lighting and charging company most well known for its beloved LUCI line of inflatable solar lanterns in 2024. Together, MPOWERD and BioLite have positively impacted the lives of more than 12 million people, generated 25k of MWh of renewable electricity, and averted over 5 million tons of CO2 to date.
